About

The name “NakedClan” connotes “us” and our “birth-suits”. We, human as one clan, all came to this world naked and wear the clothes that nature gave us: various facial expressions. Just like the way we are, each NakedClan wears emotions: happiness, excitement, sadness, or anger and etc. Sometimes more than one expression appear as complexity of human feelings.

NakedClan tries to bring beyond regular human emotions. Sometimes you will find combinations of smily eyes with a clumpy mouth or vice versa to explain irony and paradox in our lives. Also we often hide our true feelings and wear a mask or poker face – especially in adult hood. And occasionally be hypocritical as well. Since we cannot deny that people have both sides: good and bad, positive and negative, you will find these traits in NakedClan too.

Also, as we quickly adopt modern conveniences through our lives, some wear manmade devices such as headphone or oculus and etc. Humans has prospered and keep continuing to do so. AI technology has been already penetrated greatly into our lives realizing it or not. And soon human-looking-AI might closely coexist with us sooner than we think. NakedClan includes this imagination too.

Simply put, NakedClan is all about every side of human being and possibilities of mankind.

^{More than 400 pieces of individual segments such as heads, eyes, and mouths were drawn separately by hands on digital layers and then randomly combined together in an algorithm system. Although "algorithmically generated" sounds like a machinery work, there were much more human touch than it sounds. It started by human endeavour and finished with a touch of technology. Each of these NakedClan pieces is the result of prudent steps of a person's effort.}
